The 1980 U.S. Olympic team was the United States national hockey team, made up of college players and coached by Herb Brooks, that won the gold medal in the XIII Olympic Winter Games in 1980. The team was portrayed in the 2004 film Miracle.

The underdog U.S. Olympic team surprised everyone by defeating the Soviet Union national team, as well as others, to win the gold medal in 1980.
